Monte Rosa Ski Tour - Zermatt
Description:
This high traverse ski tour, provide you with an exceptional bird eye view of the Alps, for five days you will be skiing along the royal crown, above the clouds. Summiting some of the highest peaks of the Alps and enjoying long ski descents, sometime in Italy, sometime in Switzerland.
Day by Day itinerary:
Day 1: Meet in Zermatt, review gear and condition. Ride the cable car to Klein Matterhorn. Ski ascent of Breithorn 4,078m. and ski descent to Refugio Ayas.
Day 2: Ascent of Castor 4, 228m. descent to Refugio Quintino Sella.
Day 3: From the Quintino Sella Refugio, ski ascent to Lisjoch and great descent to Refugio Mantova.
Day 4: Ski ascent of Signalkuppe 4,554m. and an incredible descent to Monte Rosa Hut.
Day 5: Ascent of Monte Rosa (Dufoursattel 4,359m) and a fantastic, long ski descent to Zermatt.

Demanding, require strong skiing skills, knowledge of mountaineering techniques
