Sylvie Richard: Professional certified instructor from Canada and the US. She is a very graceful skier with precise technical ability. She can glide down any slopes looking light as a butterfly and flawless in her execution. Most importantly she can bring these strengths to your skiing. Sylvie is also a talented percussionist and is dedicated to her music once the snow melts. She plays with the world music band, Zoe and the Rubber Band
Jackie: Is a long time sports instructor trained in Scotland. Crested Butte is fortunate to have inherited her professional abilities in skiing as well as swimming and tennis. Jackie brings enthusiasm and years of experience of helping people improve their abilities in the sports that they pursue.

Angie Hornbrook: 20 years of
ski teaching in Australia, Austria and the US. She has been a competitor in the US extremes and is currently a
judge of extreme skiing competitions. Angie can handle any slope and you will enjoy her technical abilities and
energy. She has made Crested Butte her home for nearly two decades and has been given the key to the Mountain
Theatre where she regularly directs plays. If there was an official "CB Local" prize it would go to Angie.

Todd Price: Todd's days at the CB Ski School date back to when Jean was director. Todd can ski the entire mountain and his curiosity for the perfect turn has filled his bag of tricks with many tools that he shares with his students. Todd's fun loving attitude led him to teach a large part of his time with kids and teens. He is a fully certified instructor who is dedicated to having a good time on the slopes by teaching his clients the tricks of the trade.

Madeleine Pavillard: 16 years old, level one alpine certified instructor. She won the snowboard
junior US extreme champion in 2003 and presently is competing in snowboard freestyle, slalom and giant slalom
where she has qualified for the Nationals. Madeleine studies and trains at the Crested Butte Academy.
When Madeleine's friends tired of weekend ski/snowboard lessons, she showed her self motivation to
pursue the perfect turn on progressively more difficult terrain. Although she has only spent 2 years with
the ski school as a non student, she has years of experience learning from top notch professionals.
For your children she will provide a young energetic instructor with a love for the sport
and already years of ski training under her belt. She knows what kids want and need to grow their love of the sport. |
