| Tour Description:
Climbing Aconcagua - expedition to the roof of America, Mount Aconcagua 6,959 meters.
The normal route, through the Horcones valley and Plaza Mulas base camp at 4,300 m. After a progressive ascent, reaching the high camps Nido Condores 5380 m. and Berlin 5,850 m. we will have several days to climb the final step to the summit at 6,959m.

Day by Day itinerary:
Day 1: Picked up at Plumerillos airport in Mendoza. Transfer to Hotel . Meeting with the guides, gear check, multi-media presentation of the expedition. Diner with a typical Argentinean asado. Hotel
Day 2: Visit of the Aconcagua National park office, fill out permit forms, transfer to Penitentes. Hotel
Day 3: After registering at the entrance of Aconcagua National Park, we trek through Horcones valley about 3 hours to reach Confluencia Inferior located at 3,300m. Tent
Day 4: Trek to Plaza Francia at 4.100 mts located at the footsteps of the impressive Aconcagua South Wall. View of great climbing routes done by best world alpine climbers. Return to Confluencia. Tent
Day 5: Trek 7 to 8 hours to Plaza de Mulas base camp at 4.260 mts. Tent
Day 6: Rest day at base camp. Tent
Day 7: Easy day hike, small peak ascent near base camp for acclimatization. Tent
Day 8: Ascent and portage to Nido Cóndores at 5,380m and return to BC. Tent
Day 9: Rest day. Tent
Day 10: Ascent to Nido de Condores. Tent
Day 11:Rest day. Finalize acclimatization
Day 12: Move to Berlin camp at 5.850 mts. Tent
Day 13: Summit tentative and return to Berlin or Nido de Condores. Tent
Day 14,15,16: Reserve day. Tent
Day 17: Descent to plaza de Mulas,base camp.tent
Day 18: From Plaza de Mulas we have mules to help carry out our gear, allowing for a "light" trek through Playa Ancha and Horcones Valley to the village of Penitentes in a 6 to 7 hour hike. At the Park Rangers station transport awaits us to take us to Hotel Mendoza to reach the comfort of this beautiful Argentinean city and meet later for our group dinner at a super local restaurant with all the guides and assistants. Hotel Aconcagua or Hyatt.
Day 19: Free time im Mendoza and transfer to Plumerillos airport for home departing, end of expedition.
Duration: 19 days
Difficulty: Technically easy, but physically and psychologically demanding.
